How do I determine the right size? For most items in our webshop a size guide is added, based on the brand, fit and shape of the item. There is a difference in size and measurements between brands, but sometimes also between the different items of the same brand. Therefore, the measurement in the size guides are just an average.
If you are not sure which size you should order you can measure yourself and check the size guide to see which size is closest. We also recommend to check if you already own any items from the brand you would like to order, most of the time you van just order the same size. You can also take a look at the reviews some of our other customers have left at the bottom of the page. Maybe someone has indicated that the fit of the article is smaller of bigger than usual. This might help you in making the right choice.
Measuring your sizeIf you are not sure which size you should order you can measure yourself and check the size guide to see which size is closest. We recommend to always keep in mind that you should have enough room left to move around and for what occasion you are planning on wearing it (casual, work, special occasion). Whether it is a sweatshirt or jeans, the item must be comfortable to wear! If we have noticed in our experience that a specific item or brand is clearly smaller or bigger than normal, we will always note this in the product information.
Get some measuring tape and measure the collar around your neck, at the height you would wear the collar. Make sure there is enough space left so that you can still breathe and swallow easily (about 1 centimeter/0,4 inch extra should be enough). It is also possible to measure another shirt that you already own. In that case you should measure all the way around from the middle of the top button till the end of the buttonhole.
Take out your measuring tape again. Measure the size around your torso, just below the armpits. You should be measuring around the widest part of your chest. We recommend to always keep in mind that you should have enough room left to move around, so do not measure to tightly. Not even if you like slim-fit shirts, this has already been taken into account in the shape and fit of the shirt.
Use a measuring tape to measure your waist. Place the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist. Take into account that you will also need some room to walk, sit and just move around. Don’t measure to tight, always add an extra few centimeters.
Measure your arm from the head of your shoulder till your wrist with a measuring tape. Measure all the way to the point where the base of your thumb begins.
The length of the inside of your leg determines the length of the trousers or jeans you will need. Please a measuring tape as high as possible on the inside of your leg and measure all the way down to the heel of your foot.
Measure from the base of the neck to the end of the shoulder with a measuring tape.
