Before You Begin:
- Always check the label of the garment for instructions to maintain quality.
- Iron when the clothing is still slightly damp or moisten the garment with a spray bottle.
- For the smoothest result, use an ironing board set to a comfortable height.
- Avoid the iron coming into contact with zippers, buttons, prints, and decals as it can cause damage.
Ironing a Dress Shirt
Step 1: Set your iron to the appropriate temperature for cotton (max. 200°C).
Step 2: Turn the dress shirt inside out and start with the collar. Iron from the center outward.
Step 3: Continue with the cuffs, ironing the inside first and then the outside.
Step 4: Iron the shoulders and work your way down toward the front and back of the shirt.
Step 5: Finally, iron the sleeves and hang the dress shirt immediately to keep it wrinkle-free.
Ironing Jeans
Step 1: Set your iron to an appropriate temperature for cotton (max. 200°C).
Step 2: Turn the jeans inside out and start with ironing the waistband.
Step 3: Then, iron the back of the jeans, working from the top to the bottom.
Step 4: Turn the jeans right side out and lightly iron the front to smooth out any remaining wrinkles.
Step 5: Hang the jeans immediately to let the fabric become smooth.
Ironing Men’s Pants
Step 1: Check the label on the pants to set the iron to the correct temperature.
Step 2: Turn the pants inside out and start by ironing the waistband.
Step 3: Iron the inside of the pant pockets flat to prevent new wrinkles.
Step 4: Iron the front and back of the legs, working from top to bottom.
Step 5: Pay attention to the creases and seams to maintain a neat appearance.
Step 6: Hang the pants immediately to let the fabric become smooth.
Ironing a T-shirt
Step 1: Set your iron to a low to medium temperature (max. 150°C), depending on the fabric.
Step 2: Lay the T-shirt flat on the ironing board and start with the sleeves. Iron them flat.
Step 3: Then, gently iron the front and back of the shirt.
Step 4: If your T-shirt has a design or print, turn it inside out to prevent damage.
Step 5: Hang the T-shirt immediately to let the fabric become smooth.
Ironing a Sweater or Pullover
Step 1: Turn the sweater inside out and lay it flat on the ironing board. Ensure all parts are smooth.
Step 2: Set your iron to a low temperature (max. 110°C) suitable for the fabric.
Step 3: Move the iron back and forth to smooth out any wrinkles.
Step 4: Pay attention to the cuffs and ensure they are nicely ironed flat.
Step 5: Hang the sweater to let it fully dry before storing it.
