Book a hotel… with a twist
Choose a hotel with a bar or restaurant and agree on a dress code, such as Cocktail or Tenue de Ville. The aim is to outdo each other with your outfit. The following combination, for example, is always a bull's eye:
Create a personal podcast
Does your partner regularly listen to podcasts? Then it's a fun surprise to record a podcast for him or her. You can reminisce, dedicate songs or have a go at your own singing skills. It doesn't matter if it's clumsy; the point is that it's sincere and authentic.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
Create a little treasure hunt or route past places that are important to you. Think of the spot of your first date, where you first said "I love you", or simply that one bench in the park where you always drink coffee. While walking, send a text with a nice memory of that place.

The Analog Evening
Put your phones on aeroplane mode and put the tablets and laptops in a drawer. Devote a romantic evening to things we often forget due to the distraction of screens. Play board games, ask each other deep questions while enjoying a drink (e.g. via card games) or paint or sculpt together.

Create a personalised gift box
Put together a box with items that suit your partner perfectly, such as a lovely fragrance, a premium basic or an accessory in their favourite colour. Add a handwritten card with "I saw this and thought of you." It's a lovely personal gesture that shows you have an eye for detail and for each other.
