The suspenders have both leather straps (dropouts) and clip closures, which you can remove so that you can wear the fastener of your choice. Does what it needs to do but I found them a bit pricey. There are cheaper ones on this site that offer the same quality.

Unfortunately, the leather loop at the buttons comes loose each time! With a previously purchased set of suspenders, the leather triangle on the back popped apart. Sad for such an expensive product
