Wool ties are usually made from virgin wool or cashmere. However, there are also combinations of wool and cashmere, wool and silk and cashmere. In any case, whatever material the woolen tie is made of, duit warms better than the silk. That is why it is worn especially in autumn and winter as a cozy and elegant alternative to the silk tie.

We find particularly elegant woolen ties in Italy. In Italy, wearing wool ties is just as natural as silk ties.

Knitted ties

Like the knitted tie, the old wool tie is often kept plain, which makes it easier to pair with a checked shirt. The formal version of a knitted tie is available in black or dark blue.
